Did i feel ok about painting such a “religious” design” ?..By the time it came to the painting of this wall i was definitely ok with it.
NZ has just been through a big social shift regarding the mandating of Covid Vaccines. i won’t get into that now but it brought up some pretty big feeling about a lot of big things. Also co-insiding with the beginning of this mural and the vaccine mandate.. i found a new way, a new community, a new space with which to practise my yoga. i won’t get into the details of that now either but i’ve expanded thats for sure…
Despite interruptions from rain, a half marathon and the children at the school asking ALOT of questions, I got this mammoth project on both sides of Te Kophua Hapori / The Community Bach finished in 80hours, in time for Christmas. That’s a Christian celebration that almost the whole world has decided to use ..
